They include a commentary, "The Case for a Global Ban on Asbestos," companion editorial, and news feature, "A Worn-Out Welcome: Renewed Call for a Global Ban on Asbestos," along with a related research article, "Respiratory Symptoms in Libby, Montana."

Mitochondrial disease is the focus of a news story, "Mito-Conundrum: Unraveling Environmental Effects on Mitochondria," and a research report, "Imaging of Mitochondrial Oxidative Stress."
